Traffic at the iconic Gare de Lyon train station came to a halt as Jolie, dressed in her chic costume, navigated crowds, scanned the departures list and hurried to a platform. Between takes during the 90-minute shoot, the actress, 34, smiled and called "Bonjour!" to the crowd. Afterward, Jolie proceeded to an apartment for the afternoon shoot and then had lunch with sons Maddox and Pax.

First ever movie for blind

MUMBAI: My Name is Khan, which has already stormed the box office, is now set to create history by becoming the first ever Bollywood film to be released in cinemas with audio description (AD). The blind can watch Shahrukh Khan's film in the theatres now. After the research among blind or partially sighted people of Asian origin, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) found out that over 55 per cent want to watch Bollywood films if AD is provided. So, for the first time ever, 20th Century Fox is offering a Hindi AD track on My Name is Khan. AD is as important to blind and partially sighted people as subtitles are to those hearing impaired. It is an additional narration that fits between passages of dialogue to describe action sequences, body language, costume and scenery, allowing the viewer to understand exactly what is happening on screen. Twenty-one dead in Bangladesh factory fire

riday, February 26, 2010 DHAKA: At least 21 people were killed and nearly 50 injured in a fire at a Bangladesh clothing factory on Thursday, doctors and police said. The fire raged for more than two hours at the Garib and Garib Newaj Garment factory in Gazipur, about 50 km (30 miles) north of the capital, Dhaka. Doctors at Gazipur hospital said 13 of the dead were women. Earlier, fire services said they had taken 18 seriously burned people to the hospital. Clothing factories in Bangladesh are prone to fires as a result of poor safety standards. The textile industry is one of the country's most important, accounting for more than $10 billion in exports annually, more than two-thirds (80 percent) of total exports. Eleven fire tenders brought the fire under control after more than an hour and fire crews searched the building for the dead and injured. Djokovic to face Baghdatis in Dubai semifinal

Friday, February 26, 2010 DUBAI: Defending champion Novak Djokovic rallied past Ivan Ljubicic 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 to advance to the semifinals at the Dubai Championships. Djokovic was down a set and 4-4 against former finalist Ivan Ljubicic, who had 14 aces. But Djokovic won the next eight games and will play Marcos Baghdatis. The unseeded Baghdatis defeated Michael Berrer 7-6 (5), 6-1. He had 11 aces and gave Berrer no break chances. Jurgen Melzer overcame Marin Cilic 7-6 (8), 7-5 to reach the other semifinal. Melzer will face seventh-seeded Mikhail Youzhny, who defeated Janko Tipsarevic 6-3, 6-4.

ancouver: Vancouver 2010 Olympics medals tally: At the end of 14th day of games at the 21st Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the Olympic contingent from USA sits proudly atop the medals table with 32 medals in all. Team USA has managed to bag 8 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 12 bronze medals. Coming in second to USA is Germany with a total of 26 medals. Germany has bagged equal number of gold medals as USA but lags behind in terms of silver and bronze medals from the leading country. Norway has secured third rank so far with a total of 19 medals.
