Razzaq steers Pakistan to win over England

DUBAI: Allrounder Abdul Razzaq’s spectacular batting display helped Pakistan to win the second Twenty20 International by four wickets against England here the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

He hammered an unbeaten 46 from just 18 balls with five towering sixes after Pakistan were reeling at 78 for five in 13 overs.

Chasing 149 to win, Pakistan achieved the target of 149 runs with one over left.

Earlier, Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik won the toss again and this time he put England to bat first.

England made 148 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Opener Jonathan Trott and Kevin Pietersen posted 98 runs for the second wicket partnership after England lost Joe Denly, who was bowled by pacer Yasir Arafat.

They took score to 110 in 16.1 overs when Trott was run out by Imran Nazir for 39. Then, England lost two more wickets for only 15 runs due to which their run rate became slower.

Pietersen smashed 62 from 40 balls with three sixes and four boundaries.

For England, Graeme Swann claimed three for 14 and debutant pacer Ajmal Shahzad got two wickets.

US troops in Iraq head to Afghanistan

Cuba's annual Habanos festival ended on Friday night with an auction of ornate humidors of cedar and mahogany stacked with hand-rolled stogies that raised 800,000 euros ($1.09 million dollars). Habanos S.A. executives this month said cigar sales fell 8 percent to $360 million in 2009, so they have created the Julieta, a smaller, milder version of the Romeo y Julieta cigar, aimed specifically at female smokers.
