September 10, 2009 MEXICO CITY: Hijackers are holding a flight from Cancun to Mexico City.Mexico Communications Secretary Juan Molinar says the plane is sitting on the runway at the Mexico City international airport.Mexican news media report the hijackers are three Bolivian citizens who are demanding to talk with Mexican President Felipe Calderon. Mexican network TV reported that the flight Wednesday was carrying 104 passengers.Some of the passengers from a hijacked Aero Mexico flight were seen leaving the plane Wednesday, witnesses said. Passengers have been freed from a hijacked airplane in Mexico City, but the crew remains aboard. Passenger Adriana Romero told media that all passengers have been released unharmed from the Cancun-to-Mexico City flight, Aero Mexico Flight 576, but the crew is still being held hostage. Friday, August 14, 2009 MUMBAI: A 26-year-old woman died Thursday of H1N1 swine flu in the southern city of Bangalore, raising India's death toll from the virus to 20, authorities said.The death was the first reported in India's information technology capital, the Press Trust of India reported.Meanwhile in Pune, the worst-affected in India, two more victims of the virus died Thursday, raising the death toll in that western city near Mumbai to 12, the report said.
