Thursday, September 17, 2009 CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Aniston has revealed she used to clean toilets to make extra cash. The former Friends star - who now rakes in big bucks for her movies - told Parade magazine she wasn't well off as a child so scrubbed people's loose to boost her pocket money."I made my allowance as a kid cleaning toilets - I'm actually pretty good at it," said the actress. But Jen, who also worked as a waitress and sold time-shares before hitting the big time, said she was perfectly happy in whatever job she did."I struggled for a while, but I was happy with my life whether I was making this amount of money, or that amount of money," she said. When acting jobs started to boost her bank balance Jennifer splashed out on a Mercedes - which she's still never driven. She laughed: "I bought an antique Mercedes for 20,000 dollars that never has been ridden in or driven by me, however long that's been. I got a lemon. I bought it off Melrose Ave. I should have known better. It was sitting on like the side of the road and I was like, 'Oh my God! It's a 1969, you know, 280SL!' So I bought it and it just wouldn't move."
