Abdur Razzaq would play from the Pakistani side in place of injured Yasser Arafat; he was allowed by the ICC technical committee.Australia, Bangladesh, Scotland and the Netherlands have all departed the World Cup following the group stages. The eight qualifiers are divided into two pre-determined groups, E and F. Group E is made up of the top seeds from groups A and C and the second seeds from groups B and D, with the reverse in Group F. Each country plays three Super Eight games. West Indies and Ireland take the seedings of the departed Australia and Bangladesh. The top two from each group progress to the semi-finals.The first match will be played between the teams of Ireland and New Zealand and the second one to be played between England and South Africa.
Friday, August 14, 2009 MUMBAI: A 26-year-old woman died Thursday of H1N1 swine flu in the southern city of Bangalore, raising India's death toll from the virus to 20, authorities said.The death was the first reported in India's information technology capital, the Press Trust of India reported.Meanwhile in Pune, the worst-affected in India, two more victims of the virus died Thursday, raising the death toll in that western city near Mumbai to 12, the report said.
