LOS ANGELES: International Hockey Federation has announced the names of the World Hockey All-Star Teams here on Sunday.Pakistan’s only Rehan Butt was also fortunate enough to be named among the other 18 top class men and women players for the All-Star teams.The names were announced during the annual session of Federation of World Hockey Congress in Los Angeles state on Sunday.Four players of Spain and Germany each, three players of Australia and Holland each, two players of England and a player from Pakistan were among the chosen players for World All-Star teams.Two coaches were also decided; one from Germany and other from Spain while World Player of the year would also be named after the session.
Friday, August 14, 2009 MUMBAI: A 26-year-old woman died Thursday of H1N1 swine flu in the southern city of Bangalore, raising India's death toll from the virus to 20, authorities said.The death was the first reported in India's information technology capital, the Press Trust of India reported.Meanwhile in Pune, the worst-affected in India, two more victims of the virus died Thursday, raising the death toll in that western city near Mumbai to 12, the report said.
