LAHORE: Lahore High Court has adjourned for one week, the hearing of the appeal of fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar against the order of the Cricket Appellate Tribunal regarding ban on him.
The hearing was adjourned Tuesday as the LHC Chief Justice left for Islamabad.
LHC, earlier on July 4 allowed the fast bowler to play cricket, however, the Cricket Appellate Tribunal’s order to impose fine of Rs.seven millions on him was upheld.
Shoaib Akhtar filed the petition before the LHC requesting the court to set aside the Appellate Tribunal’s decision regarding ban for 18 months on him and also allow him to play.
